Biography

Turkish artist Pinar Guzelgun Hangun has double degrees on Ceramic Engineering from Engineering and Architecture Faculty and Ceramic-Glass Art from Instıtute of Fine Arts.

She holds MFA (Master of Fine Arts) and PhD degrees on ceramic art.
During her PhD studies she started to work as a Research Assistant at Sakarya University Fine Arts Faculty.

Her works exhibited at different international juried exhibition in Italy, Slovenia, Romania, Russia, Latvia and Greece. She had two solo exhibitions in Turkey.

Some of her art works are part of international art collections. She won two first prize awards from international art competitons in Croatia and Turkey.

She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Sakarya University and since 2019 she is continuing her works in New York.
